Congratulations to Ms Baier, Weston K., Meghan P., and Matt R.

These students entered a national history competition and won the Grand Prize.

Each student was awarded with a cash prize and the school was awarded a cash prize, a 1 year subscription to all ABC-CLIO history databases, and an interactive whiteboard.

Cash Register Tapes For Education

"Thank You!" to everyone who donated their receipts to us.  The points collected during this drive will purchase needed technology and classroom supplies.

Mrs. Martin's class has been working on a recycling project.  They  created a slide show that is airing on the local cable Channel 3.  They will be presenting their program to area schools.  Check out Mrs. Martin's class project here. The new English Lab will begin Wednesday, October 15, 2008.  The English Lab is open to any student who needs assistance in English.

Computer Ink Recycling Program

PHS participates in a computer ink recycling program through Planet Green Recycling.  Anyone may send to school their empty ink cartridges.

Credit Recovery is a way to get back on track and to help YOU graduate from PHS.

Credit Recovery allows individuals who have failed a subject to become successful in that subject.

PHS subscribes to Britannica Online School Edition.  This website is extremely useful for research projects.  There are 4 different encyclopedias, access to journals and magazines, websites, and videos.  We also subscribe to InfoTrac, which is a publication from the Tennessee Electronic Library.  Just click on the icons below and begin a new world of learning.
